USM PhotoJournalism Project

The University of Southern Mississippi School of Mass Communications and Journalism is seeking five high school juniors and seniors with the potential to succeed in careers as photojournalists to participate in the second year of Southern Mississippi Photojournalism Project.

The students selected for the program will have the opportunity to work on important stories with several of the country’s top photojournalists. There is no cost to students who are selected to participate. They will provide equipment. Students will need only to provide their own transportation to the Hattiesburg campus for two workshops on January 8-10 and March 26-28, 2010.
