Ole Miss Summer College for High School Students

Ole Miss is looking for the brightest and the best of the Classes of 2010 & 2011 to participate in the 29th annual Summer College for High School Students. The Summer College is comprised of twelve programs and institutes in a variety fo disciplines and varying degrees of difficulty.

Each summer outstanding high school students from across the US (and some foreign countries) converge on the University of Mississippi’s Oxford Campus to participate in the Summer College experience. Students live in a university resident hall during a four-week summer session and enroll in two college courses for which they can earn up to 7 hours of college credit. Additionally, they participate in campus activities, career exploration, networking, and social activities with other Summer College Students: all while being under the careful supervision of a professional staff and trained college student counselors.

Students must meet the admissions requirements set by the Board of Trustees of the State Institutions of Higher Learning. Any student with a 3.2 GPA on 15 academic courses on the College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) –OR- minimum of 25 ACT and 3.5 on 10 academic courses on the CPC is eligible.
