Each year the NAACP give scholarship awards to some deserving students. The NAACP give Scholarship Awards each year. This year the awards will be presented at The 2008 Freedom Fund Banquet to be held at the Trotter Convention Center @ 7:00 p.m. on October 18, 2008. The deadline for submission is October 16, 2008.
This year the awards will be shared locally among the 4 high schools. Students interested must have a cumulative gpa 3.00 The Essay must be 250 words, typed.
Essay Title: “What does it mean to me to see Senator Barack Obama become the first African-American President of the United States of America?”
Applications are available in my office. Turn your essays in to me no later than 12:00 on Thursday, October 16th.
