MUW SCHOLARS DAY

MUW SCHOLARS DAY -

  • FEBRUARY 6, 2009

THE APPLICATION PROCESS: Applying is easy! The following items must be submitted to be eligible to attend:

  • Scholars' Day Application
  • Official High School Transcript w/ an official ACT Score
  • Recommendation form from a counselor or teacher
  • Scholars' Day questionnaire

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum ACT composite score of 24 or SAT of 1090.
  • Minimum 3.0 College Prep Curriculum GPA
  • To be considered for scholarships, students must attend all events during Scholars' Day

DEADLINES:
November 21th Scholars Day - November 7th
February 6th Scholars Day - January 23rd

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE:

CENTENNIAL
This full tuition, room & board scholarship, which includes a small book stipend & out of state fees, if applicable, is MUW's most prestigious scholarship. Recipients are required to participate in the Ina E. Gordy Honors College, live in the Honors Residence Hall, & participate in the Honors Summer Study Abroad Program. This scholarship also includes a one time award of $5,000 to be used toward the study abroad program.

HONORS
The average scholarship amount awarded is $25,483 over a 4-year period. This scholarship also includes a one-time award of $2,500 to be used toward the study abroad program. Recipients are required to participate in the Honors College, live in the Honors Residence Hall, & participate in the Honors Study Abroad Program

UNIVERSITY
The amounts of these renewable scholarship packages vary, but the average 4-year award is $23,000. Out-of-State fee scholarships are given if applicable. Recipients are encouraged to participate in Honors College.

RENEAU
The amounts of these renewable scholarship packages vary, but the average 4-year award is $12,000. Out-of-State fee scholarships are given if applicable. Recipients are encouraged to participate in Honors College
