As the nation’s leading education loan guarantor, USA Funds works to promote access to higher education for all deserving students. For the 2010-2011 academic year USA Funds will award $1,500 scholarships to students with economic need. Full-time and half-time undergraduates are eligible for the awards. Up to 50% of the scholarships will be targeted to students who, in addition to demonstrating financial need, are members of an ethnic minority group or are physically disabled.
Applications will be accepted online between Dec 15, 2009 – Feb 15, 2010. Details about the scholarship program currently are posted on the website: www.usafunds.org/scholarship
