MUW’s 7th Annual Minority Day will be held on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 9:00am to 5:00 pm. The theme is “Dancing through the Past, Stepping into your Future” Check in starts at 9:00am in the Cochran Hall Ballroom. This program is hosted by members of IMAGE (Increasing Minority Access to Graduate Education) at MUW.
This program aspires to increase minority awareness in applying to and attending college. This year, student will have an opportunity to interview for a Minority Day Scholarship ranging from $250.00 - $500.00.
Minority Day applications are available online or from Mrs. McBrayer. Student’s need to RSVP for Minority Day by FRIDAY, OCT 23, 2009. Only 100 students will be considered and selected to attend Minority Day. Students selected to attend will be notified of their acceptance on or before October 28. There will be NO ONSITE REGISTRATION. Minority day is open to juniors and seniors.
