Just a reminder - your scholarship information & Hall of Fame applications are due by Friday, May 1st!!

Balanced Man Scholarship

The Mississippi Beta chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Balanced Man Scholarship is available. The scholarship is open to any student w/ an ACT score of 24 or higher, who will be attending Mississippi State University in the fall. The purpose of the scholarship is to reward a young man who is well rounded. They are looking for someone who has succeeded in school, athletics and the community.

Book Allowance

Zeta Amicae Auxiliary is offering a book allowance scholarship. Any student with a 2.6 on 4.0 scale experiencing economic hardship can apply. The deadline is APRIL 24th ! the application must be received by April 24th, not postmarked by.

MS Section of the American Nuclear Society Scholarship

The Undergraduate Scholarship Program of the Mississippi Section of the American Nuclear Society is an academic competition for scholarships that originally began in 2006 as the Incoming College Freshman Scholarship Program. College undergraduates, including incoming freshmen, from the state of Mississippi may enter the Scholarship Program by submitting the scholarship application.

The objective of the Scholarship is to support the objectives of the Section by offering the Scholarship to graduates of Mississippi high-schools who will be enrolled, full-time, in college courses pursuing science, mathematics, and/or technical courses with an interest in working in nuclear science and technology.

The Section will give a maximum of two Scholarships annually. Each award is $1000.

Mississippi Tuition Assistance Grant (MTAG)
Program OverviewCreated by the Mississippi Legislature this program is designed to provide financial aid assistance to Mississippi residents attending state approved public and nonprofit two-year and four-year eligible colleges and universities. The primary objective of the MTAG is to provide educational opportunities for students who wish to pursue post secondary education in the state.
Important DatesApplication Dates: January 1 – September 15 Supporting Documents Deadline: October 15
Eligibility Requirements for Entering Freshman:
Be a legal resident of the State of Mississippi for one year prior to application
Have a high school cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.50 on a 4.0 scale or GED certificate (submit copy of GED test scores and GED certificate) or completion of Home School program (submit signed transcript of 9th through 12th grades)
Have scored a minimum of a 15 on the National ACT
Be accepted and enrolled full-time at an approved postsecondary institution in Mississippi
Receive less than the full Federal Pell Grant as determined by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Mississippi Office of Student Financial Aid uses the latest version of the results of the FAFSA process to determine an applicant's Pell Grant eligibility.
Must be pursuing first certificate, first associate or first bachelors degree
