Tugaloo College High School Day

The team of Enrollment Management has scheduled HIGH SCHOOL/COMMUNITY COLLEGE DAY (during Tougaloo’s 140th Founders’ Week) for high school Junior/Senior and Community College students for Friday, October 16, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sign-in will be from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

The day’s activities will include the following: admissions requirements, financial aid counseling, academic affairs overview, campus tours, complimentary lunch, and mini greek show.

We are requesting that you inform your seniors or community college students. We will set up in the George A. and Ruth B. Owens Health & Wellness Center. We have enclosed a response sheet for you to copy and have students to fax or mail back to us. They are more than welcome to email us at jjacobs@tougaloo.edu or whether they will be able to attend. If it is more convenient for you to email the names of the students along with your name as counselor, please do so. Please respond by mail, fax, or email Thursday, October 1, 2009.

Mississippi Valley State High School Day

MVSU's Fall High School Visit Day is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2009.
Registration begins at 8:00am at the RW Harrison HPER Complex.

MVSU will be playing Texas Southern - the participants of High School Day will be able to attend teh game free.

Y Teens Life Skills

The YMCA has partnered with Columbus & Lowndes County School Districts to offer high school seniors a class that will be giving them skills for life. This class is one day a week for the Fall 2009 semester, the instructor comes to you and seniors get prepared for the journey of life after graduation.
